Timeline of The Peace Institute at the exhibition at +MSUM

The Peace Instiute is included in the exhibition REALIZE! RESIST! REACT! Performance and Politics in the 1990s in the Post-Yugoslav Context curated by Bojana Piškur at Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova (+MSUM).
The exhibition focuses on political performance in the post-Yugoslav context of the 1990s. That decade was an extremely difficult period for the region, marked by war, nationalism, revisionism, corruption, particracy, transition, and a rapidly developing capitalist economy. The period also left a profound mark on all the decades that followed. During that time, civil society established many non-governmental organizations. The Peace Institute was one of them and is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
I’ve participated in the development of the concept of the presentation ot The Peace Institute activities in 1990-2000 and designed the layout for the exhibition.
