\nposter triptych in public space<\/p>\n

Project is presented at TAM-TAM’s Street Gallery on Vegova street Ljubljana as part of By The Way<\/a> exhibition series in public space organized in 2016 by Kino \u0160i\u0161ka.<\/p>\n

The triptych titled Not in my Name<\/em> is composed of three drawings, in which I tackle the themes of state-supported violence and xenophobia, which emerged at last year’s mass migration of refugees. The first two (Safety for Whom?<\/em> and The Patriots<\/em>) were already showcased as line drawings at the Exploination<\/a> solo exhibition, held at the Alkatraz Gallery in April. The third (Freedom for Whom?<\/em>) was created especially for the project at the Street Gallery.<\/p>\n

I have added colours which represent the merging of events with everyday social realities, while at the same time forming a contrast that highlights their unacceptability and absurdity, to all three drawings.<\/p>\n
