The Peace Instiute<\/a> is included in the exhibition REALIZE! RESIST! REACT! Performance and Politics in the 1990s in the Post-Yugoslav Context<\/a> curated by Bojana Pi\u0161kur at Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova (+MSUM).<\/p>\n The exhibition focuses on political performance in the post-Yugoslav context of the 1990s. That decade was an extremely difficult period for the region, marked by war, nationalism, revisionism, corruption, particracy, transition, and a rapidly developing capitalist economy. The period also left a profound mark on all the decades that followed. During that time, civil society established many non-governmental organizations. The Peace Institute was one of them and is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.<\/p>\n I’ve participated in the development of the concept of the presentation ot The Peace Institute activities in 1990-2000 and designed the layout for the exhibition.<\/p>\n Timeline of The Peace Institute activities in the period of 1990-2000<\/strong>
