The video uses Eurosport’s footage of a weight lifting championship. The act of a winning lift is shown backwards resulting in a strong suspension.

As we know, lifting a massive weight demands strong concentration and a huge effort. Usually the public nervously watch the athlete’s preparation. A successful lift possesses cathartic connotations. In this video the act of lifting is playful; the weights appear to be light, as if filled with air. The public sees the strange preparation to lose the weights and after they are already down, there is an even stronger concentration and tension made by the athlete. His action leaves us with nothing in the end.
