How can we live in today’s world full of injustice and turbulent events? How can we live and justify our existence and our (in)activity? The news of horrors of war, natural, political and existential disasters make us feel uncomfortable for a moment. But as long as we are not personally affected, this cognitive dissonance is suppressed and we carry with our everyday life as if everything was in order. The neoliberal ideology, our consumerist society and our own psyche extort us into remaining passive and letting things take their own course. I can say ironically that the least we can do is to do nothing at all.
